Taking the Gospel to Antioch!
Last week we did our second trip to Antioquia (Antioch) where we are starting a new ministry. The Mayor of this village just two hours past Cieneguilla has allowed us to start working there. His wife (Anna) is a Christian lady who has a great burden for the people there. Several months back Anna contacted me and asked if I would go there and start a church. There is approxamently 2,500 people living there. There are several smaller villages and schools in this area that we have already been to. Last week a small group of us went there and visited 4 schools including the main high school and gave out candy, Bibles, and tracts! What a blast it was to hand out God’s Word and share His love with others. We are planning to return in June once our portable soup kitchen trailer is ready and have an open air meeting in the main plaza. We will serve everyone soup and bread after sharing the Gospel of our Savior! Please pray for us as we start a regular Bible study and English classes there to help the people.
Here (in this post) is a perfect place to share the same verse my wife and I shared when we first started our ministry as missionaries over 15 ears ago. Romans 10:14 (KJV)
“How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”
Thank you so much for your prayers and support for this ministry,
The Kennedys
