Internship

Several years ago the Lord placed on our hearts the desire to start an internship program for young people who want to serve the Lord on the mission field. We have had the privilege over the years of having many wonderful young people come and serve the Lord in different areas of our ministry. If you feel the Lord calling you into full-time Christian service or want to experience the mission field in a real way, we encourage you to look at our program and pray about doing an internship with us.

What are the requirements for doing an internship at the NLCH?

1. You must be actively serving in your local church.
2. You must have completed high-school.
3. You must turn in your completed application for approval, along with your pastors recommendation.
What is the cost for the internship program, and what does it include/not include?

The cost for the internship program is $150 a week. This includes room and board(and occasional hot showers haha). It does not include your extra expenses (souvenirs, eating out, taxis, etc…). It also does not include your plane fare or exit taxes.

What does an internship consist of?

You will be given an individual daily schedule of what area you are to work in on that day. There are many areas of service, and we make a schedule to fit your gifts/talents. One day you might be helping out with meals in the kitchen, while another you might be on hair duty in the girls dorm. Everyday is different and spontaneous, and that is how we like it here at NLCH!
